I haven’t missed a single Son Jung Wan show since I discovered the fabulous Korean designer three seasons ago. I’m clearly a strong supporter. I’ve since styled Son Jung Wan’s gorgeous designs in many editorials and shoots (take a look here, here and here) as well as rocked them at several personal appearances (featured here, here, here, here, and here) … Ok. You might as well check out everything here 😉 With more to come! I’ve got at least four more posts in the queue in which I sport some of my picks from her stunning Spring/Summer 2014 collection. And let me tell you, her designs fit, feel and look in person as fabulous as they photograph.
As you can imagine, I was looking forward to discovering her latest work. And, OMG. It was epic. The stunning color palette, luxurious textures, fabulous cut, and those metallics! You guys know by now, I adore metallics so this collection definitely hit the jackpot! Simply amazing. Phillip took so many gorge photos and I loved so many looks, I think I just broke a minor record with a whooping forty something runways picks in a single post!
The color-coordinated accessories are also deserving of a special mention. I’m really loving the cutout pumps and booties with pointed-toe and bold metallic accents (oh yeah, I can never overload on metallics 😉 and they’re sexy on guys too, don’t you think so?).
Psst… you can catch a glimpse of yours truly gazing in amazement, madly instagramming and swooning over the collection in my post-show interview for Korean TV network, Arirang (sporting head-to-toe Son Jung Wan, of course ;). Can’t wait until next season!
