Second Chance: Wardrobe Tests #2

Another peek on the set of SECOND CHANCE, our upcoming fashion film that’ll soon kickstart The Global Girl Fashion Cinema Series. Slipping in and out of the most drool worthy gowns (all in a day’s work!) from a Monika Chiang beaded stunner to this megawatt silver sequin halter mermaid dress by Australian designer Rachel Gilbert (I sure wish I could slow mo my life sometimes, so I could milk fabulous moments like these!).

The sleek and sultry Thompson Beverly Hills penthouse served as the perfect backdrop to test the screen goddess quality of this exquisite body-hugging liquid silver dress. Well I assure you it made the cut! You’ll see this beauty in action in one of the film’s most kick-ass scenes (and one of my own personal favorites 😉 though with a slight change of scenery, the hotel’s gorge Swarovski-jeweled rooftop swimming pool (a magical ray of sunlight takes this sexy siren look to a whole new level).

In the accessories department, I needed statement makers that would play off that shimmering dress in a fun and edgy way. As soon as I laid eyes on these vertigo-inducing Laria Vault pumps (featured in a special Fashion Spotlight here) by Monika Chiang, I knew my quest was over. Freakin awesome. Add this pair of huge jeweled ear cuffs (yet another one of Monika’s fashionable scene stealers) and I was ready for my close-up.
