Every season as fashion week comes to a close, I leave the Big Apple with a regret in my heart: “Yet again, I haven’t had the chance to take a stroll in Central Park!” The irony is that season after season, I stay within a mere few blocks of it but never manage to actually pay a visit. I have lovely memories of outdoor concerts and dance performances in the summer, which I loved to attend when I called New York my home (even though the trip uptown from my west village abode seemed like a faraway pilgrimage ;). So this time around, I was bound and determined to walk these couple blocks from our suite at the Empire Hotel to the snow covered park to get my nature fix!
