After sampling delicious raw vegan treats, I concluded my impromptu visit to Five Elements with a guided tour of this beautiful eco-chic wellness retreat nestled on the lush banks of the Ayung River in Mambal, Bali.
I was excitedly headed to my first glamping experience amidst Ubud‘s lush rice paddy fields, so I didn’t extend my stay to allow for a taste of the many healing and spa rituals on offer. I can’t give you a first-hand account of the Balinese-inspired treatments themselves, but I was deeply inspired by the stunning settings and stylish take on sustainable architecture and decor.
The combination of healing, beauty and sacred arts so totally aligns with my own personal holistic approach to wellness that my curiosity was piqued. I explored camera in hand, to give you a little peek inside this gorge eco-luxurious sanctuary.

I’m interested with the healing village. Is that where the spa is?
I could not get over the hall with the high ceiling all made from bamboo. I admire the artistry and ingenuity!
