I discovered many wonderful designers this season and Son Jung Wan is one of them. I love the understated elegance of the Korean designer’s Fall collection. The pure, clean lines. The skillful balance of neutral tones and luxurious fabric. And the many gorgeous details that add just the right amount of sophistication to her confidently minimalist aesthetic.
Although I was plagued with a minor (ok… major) techno meltdown during the show (read all about it here), I adored every minute of it. I had an amazing front row seat (could practically touch these sublime fabrics). And Son Jung Wan’s stellar collection left me wanting more.
Must-haves: The camel long sleeved wool dress with midriff slit. The hooded cream wool jacket with peach leather shorts. The silver and ivory sleeveless textured dress. And the sleek cat eye by Miyako Okamoto for Shiseido. Absolutely fab!
