The invitation to the Catherine Malandrino Fall 2013 Presentation fell on my lap as an unexpected last minute gift and what a treat it was. The elongated, impossibly elegant silhouettes. The minimalist, effortless feel. The sleek, architectural construction. The bold and geometric print. And those textures! Unbelievable.
Inspired by the French Art Deco movement, Malandrino’s clothes were beautifully complemented by the sleek and über glossy hair designed by Didier Malige, lead stylist for René Furterer.
Must-haves: Body-hugging beaded knit maxi dress, exquisitely draped double-silk and satin gowns, fabulously textured leather coats and that sexy embroidered peplum bustier top with matching leggings!
